I think a very valid question would be "why"?
Why am I creating this gameworld?
I am creating it because the art of role-playing is a beautiful one, especially when it's dramatic and intense. I believe a good role-playing experience can be just as good as watching a movie or reading a good book; and the wonderful thing is that you get to participate in it.
Yet there are many other role-playing persistent worlds. Why create another one?
Well, one of the greatest immersion breakers for such an intense feeling is the ability for players to respawn. While I have nothing against players who do decide for a more vanilla experience, this is not what this unique permadeath PW is about.
I would like to broadcast to the world through youtube what an intense role-playing experience can be. I would like to show how exciting it can be and present it as a webshow. I would like people to follow up after the story-line, the events and the characters.
That's it in a nutshell. If I didn't believe it would be a success, that people would play it, enjoy it, and even have people following up on them, their characters, and the situation; I wouldn't have been working to create it.
